Mr. H.I Abeyrathna

Harsha Indrajith Abeyratne is an esteemed economist with a distinguished career spanning both the public and private sectors. He holds a Master of Arts in Financial Economics from the University of Colombo, a BSc in Economics with First Class Honours from the London School of Economics, and an MBA in Finance from the University of Sri Jayawardenepura. In addition, he is a Fellow Member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (UK) and the Certified Management Accountants (Sri Lanka).

Harsha’s career is also distinguished by his academic contributions, having lectured at top universities such as the University of Colombo and the Royal Institute of Colombo, where he specializes in macroeconomics, international finance, and financial markets. His role as a paper examiner for the Institute of Bankers of Sri Lanka further emphasizes his expertise in the field.
