Mrs. Shachithra Thusendrani Gunasekara

Shachithra Thusendrani Gunasekara is an accomplished Human Resources professional with over 15 years of extensive experience across industries such as telecommunications, retail, and business process outsourcing. She currently serves as the HR Manager at H Connect International (Pvt) Ltd, a Hirdaramani Group venture, where she leads strategic HR initiatives, including talent acquisition, employee engagement, HRIS management, and organizational culture development.

Previously, she held key leadership roles at Bell Solutions (Pvt) Ltd and Hameedia Designers, contributing significantly to recruitment, policy formulation, performance management, and employee wellbeing. Her expertise also includes managing disciplinary procedures, compensation structures, and implementing HR analytics to support business decisions.

Shachithra is an Associate Member of CIPM Sri Lanka and actively participates in professional initiatives such as the National HR Conference and Young Members Forum. Academically, she holds an MBA with distinction from Anglia Ruskin University, UK, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Labour Education from the University of Colombo, further cementing her strong foundation in HR leadership.
